PROFLINK family PLK-1101 series 3G/HD/SD SDI/DVB-ASI changeovers provide protection for critical signal paths by switching between a main and a stand-by lines.

By combining different SFP modules with the same PLK-CH-1101 base changeover module one can obtain several combinations of input/output formats. The PLK-CH-1101 base changeover module is automatically configured by the SFP type being inserted.

User-presettable changeover delay: 0.1~10sec in 0.1sec increments. The changeback delay is three times longer that the changeover one.

Depending on the SFP type used the following I/O configuration are possible:
• with a single-channel optical Tx SFP module - PLK-1101-EF, two electrical inputs, one optical output
• with a two-channel optical Tx SFP module - PLK-1101-EFD, two electrical inputs, twin optical output

Mechanical description

PLK-CH-1101 base module is 92mm*32mm in size. A "PROFLINK" rack can accomodate 14 such modules. Modules are accessible from the frontal side of a rack, SFPs are accessible from the rear.
