PDCC-1110 series digital chromakey |
PDCC-1110 series digital chromakey is intended to pruduce the composed picture consisting of an image of an actor (a foreground object placed in front of a colored screen) and any background rear image.
Under normal studio conditions the PDCC-1110 chromakey is capable to provide artifact-free compositions:
- the foreground picture is represented without any noticeable resolution and detalisation loss
- any semi-transparent areas of the foreground objects retain some degree of opacity and do not obscure the background details underneath them
- borders of such semi-transparent areas do not fluctuate
- the hue of semi-transparent areas and reflective surfaces is not altered by the color of the background screen
Technical specifications
Features
- ChromaKey and LumaKey modes
- any background color
- Automated scene composition: coursor/pointer driven backgroung color selection, silhuette signal management
- Mix and additive keying modes
- built-in 2x1 switchers on the foregroung and background inputs allows for the four composed scenes in any combination
- an external α-signal input allows for a multi-layered compositions, where foregroung/backgroung priorities are assigned by α-signal; or a basic titling capability
- built-in one-TV-frame storages on each foreground input, their contens may be used along with "live" foreground inputs for the chromakey setup
- all pictures previewable: a composed one, a foreground only, a background only, a silhuette signal, a foreground scene with the suppressed background color, α-signal

- INPUT SELECT field:
- four buttons selecting the foreground/background signals' combination
- MODE field:
- α ON button - toggles the α-signal ON/OFF
- CHROMAKEY and LUMAKEY LEDs - display the operational mode respectively
- PGM and PST buttons toggle the chromakey preparation mode ON/OFF
When the PST button is lit - the PDCC-1110 chromakey is in the preparation mode: operator is able to set up the parameters and composition.
When the PGM button is lit - the setup controls are disabled, the chromakey is functional.
- the touch-screen
All the setups are grouped as the six pages presented at the touch-screen.
- the rotary switch
All the editable parameters are preset with this control. The parameter's current value is being displayed on the touch-screen.
